A Childhood Cancer Survivor Poem
© 2016 Christine Mulvihill

              Brave, courageous
       Walking, talking, socializing,
Head high, low key, Tense, Agitated,
       Shaking, trembling, pounding,
                      Stiff, still

               Hurtful, scaring
        Lying, deceiving, hating
Hatred, jealousy, joyous, happy,
   Celebrating, laughing, caring
              Bubbly, cheerful

          Trust worthy, honest
       Sharing, caring, laughing
   Fun, crazy, boring, annoying
     Hating, loathing, gossiping
          Spiteful, revengeful
